Like a gift from heaven, a friend of the collective had a few bagseeds in one of his original Gelato #41 flowers. After germinating three of them, we told him which phenotype most resembled the original #41 from the visual. After getting a cut and then testing and tasting it ourselves, it was clear that it was not a dud and it had the Original Hazelnut note.
Since at that time we were working on a line that focused on a good THC/CBD balance, we added the Gelato and pollinated it with two of our Erdpurt males.
The first Erdpurt male had a very unique look that reflected both of the main phenotypes of the females that were most common in our phenohunt of Erdpurt. The second Erdpurt male had certain semi-autoflowering characteristics. It still went into pre-bloom despite high light hours but did not fully flower. It just shows how much it wants to bloom and that it can hardly wait to drop its pollen, no matter how many hours the sun is shining. To increase the gene pool and the possibility of working on an autoflowering line we have both males pollinated at the same time to gain as much diversity in phenotypes as possible.
